I love sitting in a fancy cocktail bar, watching the bartenders stirring and shaking drinks, but sometimes it's even more fun to play bartender at home. One of the coolest parts of my job is talking recipes with bartenders around the country—and testing their drink recipes out at Serious Eats headquarters, plus developing a few new cocktails of my own.
This year we played with spiked hot cocoa and gathered some delicious citrus drinks, made awesome cocktails with rye and bourbon, and rum. We made cocktails to celebrate stone fruit season and margaritas to celebrate tequila season (wait...isn't it always tequila season?)
