Of course a great barista has to be deft with his or her hands, so what better way to do honor to the coffee-making paws than to slap a bean on one of the digits? (Bonus: This bean happens to be on what we hope isn't this barista's most-used finger—the middle one.)
From Seed to Cup to Skin
This is one of my favorite combinations of two classic coffee images: The blossoms and coffee cherry on a branch, and the delicate swirls of steamed milk making lovely patterns in espresso.
Coffee can make even the meekest among us feel like a superhero, and these beans could be straight out of a panel from a Batman comic. Blammo!
This classic little demitasse is understated and simple, but speaks volumes about its owner's love of espresso. (I also love the spots of reflection on the porcelain.)
Love coffee but don't want a rosetta or "MUG LIFE" tattoo? You can always go the charmingly geeky route and get the chemical compound for caffeine etched onto your skin. (Why not? After all, sometimes it feels like the only thing that would be better than a fresh cup of coffee is an IV drip of its stimulant.)
