Summertime means you get to have your beer with a shot of vitamin D. There's no shortage of outdoor spots to drink in New York, especially in Brooklyn, but we wanted to nail down the top porches, patios, and yards for craft beer in each borough. The criteria were simple: great beer selection, good outdoor space.
Chris Lehault and I took a few friends and cut a path from South Slope up to Greenpoint to check out the best Brooklyn has to offer for al fresco imbibing. After narrowing it down to the best, here are our top 7 solid bets for the borough. Several are within walking distance of one another, so you don't have to limit your afternoon to just one beer garden.
