My favorite oolong tea lately has been Republic of Tea's Milk Oolong, but I was curious about a cheaper option and picked this box of bagged tea up at my local Whole Foods.
It has a pleasant, robust nuttiness, like toasted grains or Honey Smacks, and a bit of miso-like umami quality that I really like. Drink this smooth tea with a mushroom omelet or an afternoon cheese plate: try aged goudas or Robiola Bosina. I'll be happy to have this stuff around for a rainy day.
