Riesling Report: 2010 Von Buhl Armand Riesling Kabinett
July is riesling month! We're drinking it all month long...and maybe longer. Got a favorite riesling? Recommend it in the comments!

This is such a pretty and refreshing wine, a wine that floats in beautiful balance of juicy fruit and flowers and super-low alcohol—it's just 7.5% ABV, but remarkably flavorful.
There's a fine chalky minerality, and a light acidity prickling on your tongue. We tasted fuzzy peaches and hints of tart raspberries, tiny clementines, and lemon marmalade. There are blossoms in each sip: magnolias and little white wildflowers, a mist of rosewater.
Serve this wine on a hot day with lobster rolls or, better yet, fried chicken or fried clams.
