The Best Drinks We Drank in March

A truly great drink is an occasion in itself—finally opening that bottle you've been saving is something to celebrate. (And we're jealous that Kenji had a great bottle of Burgundy to open.) But sometimes the occasion can make a great drink even better—rosé, shared straight from the bottle, is even more delicious on the perfect spring picnic, and Irish whiskey (in a cute sweater outfit) is much more fun on St. Patrick's Day. Here are some of our most memorable sips from the past month, from bourbony beer to salty 7-Up. More

The Best Drinks We Drank in February

February was a month of traveling for many on the Serious Eats team, and those trips meant some pretty exotic sipping: a straw stuck into a fresh coconut in Thailand, a lager on the beach in Kenya, a mix of housemade frozen yogurt and strong coffee in Vietnam, and hot Coca-Cola with ginger in Hong Kong. (Some of us just stayed home and enjoyed some under-$20 wine, but we won't complain.) More

Serious Eats has been around awhile, but Drinks is just a toddler—we launched it on February 24th, 2011—two years ago yesterday! In honor of the 2nd birthday of the site, we wanted to share some of our favorite posts from the past two years, from the wacky and fun to the seriously eye-opening. More

The Best Drinks We Drank in January

January wasn't a huge boozing month for the Serious Eats crew; quite a few of us were down with the flu. But there were still some good teas and milkshakes to be had, plus fresh sugarcane and kumquat juice in Saigon (yes, we're jealous of Erin Zimmer's journey.) Check out the slideshow for our Drinks editor's new favorite local cocktail bar, plus other highlights in beer and beyond. More
