"When I first started bartending, Kathy Najimy from Sister Act sat at my bar, and I flipped–we had worked together at Disney World, once upon a time. From then on out, she would always bring the A-listers, Jennifer Aniston, Meg Ryan, Kirstie Alley. Once she was sitting at the bar, and she had me sing Happy Birthday to Robin Roberts over the phone." — Anthony Adriani (A Voce)

"I had the honor, nay, the privilege, of serving Cheech Marin. He drank Woodford Reserve. When I complimented him on his 'Jeopardy' performance, he kissed me on the cheek. He was also gracious enough to sign one of the guest books that we keep behind the bar." — Sarah McComber (South Water Kitchen)

"I did a shot with Harrison Ford.  Put that on my tombstone.  By the way, he drinks a double Stoli on the rocks. No garnish." — Lindsey Krueger (Oyster House)

"Plenty, I'm in New York! Alec Baldwin, Mick Jagger, Marion Cotillard to name a few… you don’t tell their stories, it’s a bartender thing." — Paul Ziminski (Benoit)

"Comme Ca is on Melrose in West Hollywood so we’ve had a ton of amazing celebrities come through our doors. Among my favorites are Conan O’Brien, Kevin Smith and Charlize Theron. My best celebrity story comes from an event we did where Sara Bareilles was the musical guest. I sent up a tray of cocktails (The Cool Louis) for her and her band.  Later that night Sara and her whole band came down to tell me how much they loved the cocktails.  They said they were packing up and leaving, but would love it if I could make them a round and put it in to-go cups.  Being a fan of hers I gladly did just that!  Later on she tweeted that she was walking down Beverly Hills with her band with “To-go cups filled with cocktails”… I thought that was great!" — Jeff Knudsen (Comme Ca)

"I served a certain female country singer (who might've made her name from American Idol) a mimosa but I was so nervous that I basically poured more sparkling wine on the bar than in the glass, and then I thanked her for having the drink." — Vincent Lee (Lucy Restaurant & Bar)

"Back at my old place in Chicago, we had some solid people come through. Perry Farrell, Dwayne Wade, and a bunch of MLB teams. But I’d say the coolest celeb I ever served was Ted Nugent. He played a concert at the first bar I ever worked. This is true." — Nate Howell (Cusp Dining & Drinks)
