Win Pop Chart Lab's 'Breweries of the United States' Poster

20120610breweriesposterstory.jpg

We like beer, and we like breweries. We also like well-designed posters, and therefore we love Pop Chart Lab and their latest creation, the Breweries of the United States print.

How'd they put it together? The team reports:

We did a brewery map limited to the Northeast about a year ago, with the idea that we'd do a full version down the line. Early in 2012 we started cranking on research for a massive brewery map, pulling from a bunch of different resources online (the beer community provides no shortage of data for chartists!). In the end about 1100 breweries were intricately plotted. This was our first super intense map project, and we have a newfound appreciation for cartography after spending weeks moving tiny dots around in a massive file.

You can buy this 39" by 27" signed print (made with vegetable-based ink on recycled paper!) for $30 here, but we also have 3 posters to give away to lucky winners this week.
