Named for Thomas Jefferson, this deep and bitter cocktail brought together Jefferson's Bourbon, Cocchi Torino, Green Chartreuse, and Bitter Truth aromatic bitters.
Hello Mai Baby
The Appleton Rum area of the Gala was a tiki-drink destination. We liked this tropical cocktail made with Appleton Estate and Coruba dark rums, Kalani Coconut liqueur, orgeat, lime, and pineapple demerara syrup, topped off with sparkling wine.
This very dry gin sour made by the folks behind Bathtub Gin in Chelsea was our favorite cocktail of the evening. In this drink, Tanqueray is mixed with Roi Rene Rouge cherry liqueur, Dolin dry vermouth, fresh lemon, orange bitters, and a dash of Pernod absinthe.
This carbonated Negroni was made with Campari, Cinzano sweet vermouth, and Dorothy Parker gin.
The NoMad Cart
The NoMad's bottle service, demonstrated by bar manager Leo Robitschek, was set up to offer a South Side, Negroni, Gin Gin Mule, Martinez, and a few other drinks to a few lucky folks in an invite-only PDT/NoMad popup within the Gala.
No. 6 Cup
Pimm's No. 6 was vodka-based, so PDT's No. 6 Cup was as well. Sweet vermouth, Cherry Heering, orange curacao, lemon, cucumber, and ginger ale rounded out this delicious and easy-drinking fruity beverage.
The newly released Lillet Rose is lovely in a cocktail with Solerno Blood Orange liqueur, Gran Classico, and prosecco.
Like apple juice for grownups, this crisp pisco cocktail featured dried apple puree, fresh lemon, orange bitters, Gran Sierpe Pisco, and egg white, plus a sprinkle of cinnamon.
This stirred cocktail from Ward III featured spicy Makers 46 with a bit of Gran Classico and orange bitters.
Caliche rum mixed with Campari, grapefruit juice, and soda makes for an easy-drinking refresher.
This silky smooth cocktail brought together Death's Door gin with dry and sweet vermouth, Combier grapefruit cordial, and grapefruit bitters.

Like a South Side cocktail with Jefferson's Bourbon instead of gin, plus a touch of Bonal Gentiane-Quina.
Sun & Sand
This rye-heavy cocktail featured Michter's rye, fresh orange and lemon juice, and a little Cherry Heering. The flavor reminded us of candied oranges soaked in rye.
Flight of Fancy
Belvedere Lemon Tea gets an herbal boost from thyme syrup and tonic (plus a splash of lime juice for freshness.)
This lovely lady was offering cans of the hangover prevention drink, Mercy, from a table attached to her dress.
Cucumber & Watermelon Cocktail
Pearl Cucumber Vodka met grilled watermelon, lemon, and Peychaud's in this cocktail, which was garnished with Laphroaig-soaked rosemary for a smoky accent.
The Frisco dates back to 1903. This version featured Redemption Rye, Benedictine, lemon, a touch of cherry juice and cherries soaked in Benedictine.
The Gala provides a chance for brands to share new products with masses of cocktail fans. This recently released spicy Caribbean liqueur is infused with hibiscus, ginger, clove, cassia, and nutmeg.
Pallini Limoncello and fresh lemon juice add tartness to Boru Vodka and cucumber in this cocktail created by Jonathan Pogash.
The Plum Bullet
This cocktail mixed Bulleit rye, Averell Damson Plum liqueur, Cocchi Vermouth, and Peychaud's bitters, and was aged for 60 days in new American oak barrels before serving.
Light and Stormy
A simple refresher: 10 Cane Rum, ginger beer, and lime juice.
Don Q rum served up these icy-sweet frozen mojitos.
This slightly herbal cocktail had a nice bitter finish from Cynar mixed with Chilean pisco, Carmenere, and Angostura bitters.

Drambuie poured this black tea-based cocktail topped with lavender-infused cream.
Apple of My Eye
A sweet dark rum cocktail with Lillet Rouge, Berentzen apple, orgeat, and lemon.
The folks behind White Pike whiskey were on hand serving up these cocktails made with White Pike, Dolin Blanc vermouth, Benedictine, and orange bitters. The addition of spelt and malted wheat to the White Pike mash adds rich texture, we were told.
