Some idiot once said that the coldest winter they ever spent was a summer in San Francisco (it wasn't Mark Twain). In fact, it can be quite nice...sometimes. And you want to spend those kinda-sorta-rare beautiful days right—drinking delicious beer outdoors. So we set out to find the best San Francisco area beer-focused bars with nice outdoor seating.

It's not that hard to find ample outdoor space or quality beer, but the two rarely meet. (And when they do, we'd prefer the staff be friendly and the lines for beer not be too long.)
