The Gin ($8)
This Gin cocktail starts out with Gordon's Gin, Cynar, and apricot liqueur, and then adds an Asian-inspired twist with Hakutsuru plum wine for a well-balanced blend of bitter and sweet.
The Rum ($10)
The Rum cocktail at Barwares is comprised of black cardamom-infused Flor de Cana rum, honey simple syrup, and tamarind syrup. The tangy, smoky cocktail deceptively suggests a smoky Scotch, and is served with one large ice cube.
The Sake ($8)
The Sake cocktail was born out of the Barwares team's love for Negronis. They swapped out the gin for unfiltered sake, and the Campari for the more mild-mannered Aperol, and went with the locally produced Imbue Bittersweet vermouth, before topping the bright and fruity sipper off with an orange twist.
The Tequila ($9)
A smooth blend of Cazadores tequila, Dolin Blanc vermouth, citrus syrup, and a few dashes of the kitchen's tarragon bitters, which balance the brightness of the citrus and latch into the herbaceous tequila.
The Whiskey ($8)
A simple blend of Old Overholt Rye whiskey and house-made garam masala simple syrup. The garam masala isn't quite traditional, leaning heavily on warm winter spices which pair masterfully with the spicy rye.
