You know a city is serious about beer when its "beer week" is actually two weeks long. And moving from event to event at the 14-day long, 3rd annual L.A. Beer Week, you can't help but get the sense of pride that the area's bar owners, brewers, and craft beer lovers have for the scene that just won't stop growing.

From super local brews to rare releases from up the coast, L.A. Beer Week has thus far offered a range of stellar sips. Take a look at some of our favorites in the slideshow, and if you're in town, there's still plenty of Beer Week to be enjoyed—now through October 23.
