I first learned about 12NtM Sparkling Beverages over lunch at Gotham Bar & Grill. The drink was offered as alternative to wine (for those who have to go back to work!) or soda. These nonalcoholic drinks blend fruit juices, tea, herbs and spices in an unusually light and slightly fizzy drink that reminded me a bit of prosecco, only more fruity and sweet.

12 Noon to Midnight comes in two flavors: Blanc and Rouge. The Blanc has hints of ginger, while the Rouge is more spicy, deep with red currant and black pepper, and with a subtle tart pomegranate pucker. I drink it straight up, cold out of the fridge, but it would also work as a mixer, perhaps stirred with sake or gin and a squeeze of lemon.
