New York Craft Beer Week is in full swing and we're already in a daze from all the fantastic beers (and bites) the city has to offer. This week you'd be hard pressed to find a bad beer in the city's better bars as homebrew heroes, local nanos, and national pioneers bring their best to the Big Apple. We've taken on the daunting task of tasting our way through the festival (a hard job, I know) this past weekend to bring you some of our tastiest sips and bites to go along with them.
Check out the slideshow to see a few of our favorites.
Wondering what's on tap this week? Tonight, Rattle n Hum will be pouring special beers from Captain Lawrence, and owner Scott Vaccaro will be on hand to meet and greet, and Anfora is hosting Victory Brewery for their weekly producer night.
Wednesday, Taproom 307 is hosting a beer-based cocktail party featuring brews from Ithaca. Jimmy's No. 43 is hosting two events in one, a meet-the-owner night with Cigar City with rare beers on tap and in bottles, plus Brooklyn Oyster Party in the back room.
Thursday, don't miss NYC Brewer's Choice at City Winery, featuring more than 20 brewers pouring their beers (along with lots to eat!) This was one of our favorite events last year. For more beer-filled happenings throughout the city, check out the NY Craft Beer Week website.
