Snapshots from Philly Beer Week 2011

Philly Beer Week takes over Philadelphia for a full ten days—some week, huh? There are tastings all over town, meet-and-greets with brewers, beer pairing dinners, panel discussions, tap takeovers, and much more, all adding up to the country's largest beer festival.

Philadelphia is already a fantastic beer drinking town, but from June 3rd to the 12th, there are at least 50 events on any given day. (To make sure you get to hit all of the best events, there's an app that lets you search events by venue, brewery, and category and favorite them so they don't get lost in the beery shuffle.)

We've been sampling local and far flung brews, sipping al fresco at many of the city's beer gardens, and learning from the best at the second annual Forum of the Gods. And the week's not over yet! We'll be checking in again with more Beer Week adventures, but for now, check out the slideshow to see what we've been enjoying.
