At Teaism in DC, the Chai Shake is light on both the wallet and stomach. (It's $3.25, and since we definitely are living in the age of the $5 to $7 milkshake, that's a steal.)

A scoop of cinnamon gelato from the beloved local shop Dolcezza is blended with ice and Teaism's freshly brewed chai. Consistent with the overall vision of a tea-focused and healthy menu (think tea-cured salmon, tuna bentos, and a wide tea selection), the shake manages to offer a wealth of flavors, most prominently cinnamon and cardamom, while maintaining a breezy, sippable consistency. My companion noted that the shake was more icy than creamy, but as the summer heat rises, icy and light is perfectly fine in my book.
