I like chocolate and I like tea, but I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about "Cuppa Chocolate Tea" a line of herbal-chocolate tea blends from the Republic of Tea. And while I wasn't wild about the others flavors in this line, the Coconut Cocoa stood out. The main flavor is toasted coconut, though think more balanced and less "Malibu rum."

Best of all, there's real chocolate flavor here, perhaps thanks to the inclusion of cocoa powder (an ingredient not listed in the other blends). Toasted carob and chicory help balance the chocolate flavor by adding a slight bitterness. As the tea cools down, the sweetness does start to build and you may start to feel like you're drinking an Almond Joy. But people who are looking for a consequence free-sweet fix could do worse than brewing a cup of this.

Available online; $9.50 for a tin containing 36 bags
