Hot Drinks, NY: Hot Chocolate at Ground Support

House-made milk chocolate syrup serves as the foundation for hot chocolate ($3) at Ground Support in Soho. Coffee and sandwiches may be the main draw at this breezy cafe, but the hot chocolate is wonderful. Blended with steamed whole milk, this comforting drink is more creamy than chocolatey.
With its high frothy finish—the thick mustache-forming sort—and I didn't even miss my usual dose of whipped cream.
